Crocodile Mile

Elon's first birthday was celebrated with a crocodile themed party, complete with 4 foot long cake and a 4.5 foot long inflatable crocodile for the kids to wrestle. The weather was beautiful, not too hot but perfect for swimming. Since the party was after church, we knew everyone would be hungry. For lunch, we served hamburgers, hotdogs, potato salad, ranch beans, chips, salsa, and cantaloupe with iced tea to drink. Everything tasted so good!

Party Favors for the Kids

Elon and Enoch, scootin' around the pool

Momma's baby's turnin' 1!!!

Grandma and Great Grandma sipping tea and staying cool in the shade

Elon's guests

Cute little girls with soaking wet ponytails

Would ya look at that size o that crock!

Completely edible, right down to his gumball nostrils!

Yummy!

"Wow, that was fun! Do I get to do that every time we have cake!?!

Colorful presents do make things more fun!

A set of really cool building blocks from grandma.

"Whoa, this dinosaur's tryin' ta eat me!"

Eyes beginning to droop from all the excitement.

I think the party turned out very nicely. Everyone seemed to have a great time and I think it was fun for the adults to sit and chat while the kids played in the pool. The party's over and it's time to return to normal life, now to find a place for all those toys...
