I don't think I have a particular scent; most perfumes give me a headache. :) I used to use apple lotion all the time; but the two companies that made it stopped making it, and I can't find a good substitute anywhere. But if I had to choose a scent for myself, it would probably be that. :)
Hi Davene, yeah, a lot of perfumes give me a headache too. I have to be very careful and wear the scent for a couple of days to be sure we're a "match." To me, once Cashmere Mist "settles," it smells like Oil of Olay lotion. I love that scent!
Have you tried the Body Shop for your apple lotion?
That reminds me of when I was in college, Dave Reever's wife came and spoke at a tea for the female students and she talked about how her "scent," Chanel No. 5, helped bring him out of his coma. It's amazing what memories a smell can bring forth!
My scent is Flower Bomb by Viktor and Rolf. The minute I run out of it Lance goes out and gets a new bottle, he insists I wear it everyday. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!
I haven't tried the Body Shop for it. We don't have one in our little town. :) We do have Victoria's Secret and Bath & Body Works; they are the places I used to find it in years past. Next time I'm in a "big city," I'll keep my eyes out for the Body Shop and try there. Thanks for the tip!
That was an interesting story about Dave Roever's wife. You're right: smells and memories are very closely connected.

My mom's scent is Chanel No. 5. :)
Judith, I'll have to smell that one. Never heard of it. There are so many fragrances out there it's hard to choose!
