Maybe you think still referring to my father as "daddy" is weird, but where I'm from, folks in their 70's will still be calling their dads by the endearing name "daddy."Can you believe my dad is 52 today? And still not one gray hair. I pray I get his genetics in this area!
Still haven't picked out a present yet. It's so hard shopping for men, or is that just me?

Folks around here still call their fathers "daddy" too...especially in the Mennonite culture. It was interesting during the events surrounding the robberies here that targeted Mennonites that I wrote about on my blog a while back to hear big, grown men refer to their "Daddy." I love it! Although I call mine "Dad"...hm, wonder why...
