Vintage Bridal Shower...

Here are a few pictures of the outfits worn to the shower. After the guests started arriving I got busy and forgot to take any more pictures. At least I have these:

Myself, Amy, and my sil (not the one getting married)

Mother and grandmother of the bride to be

Myself and Jill, a family friend

Myself and my grandmother in law, (They MADE me wear the apron!)

My friend Crystal, the bride to be, and myself-- minus the apron- whew!

Each table was topped with a white table cloth, mix-matched tea pots, creamers and sugar bowls and pretty embroidered napkins. Place cards were set using the mini rolling pins shown in a previous post with the ladies name inscribed on a recipe card.

The tea pots were filled and the ladies enjoyed a feast of chicken divan, those potatoes, mini quiche, deviled eggs, a beautiful green salad, mini muffins, and croissants. For desert there were creme puffs, chocolate eclairs, and a cherry trifle. The beverages included tea, coffee and ice water.

There was bridal bingo and guess the vintage cookware. Then old black and white photos of 50's moms were passed around and guests had to guess which one was the bride's grandmother. There were about 13 prizes awarded and of course, ladies got to take home the mini rolling pin recipe card holder. Everyone went home with something fun! I think this vintage bridal shower was the funnest I've ever had the priveledge to attend! My mil did a great job!

Of course, leave it to me to be too busy talking to take more pictures!
