Thank you all for your love and prayers. I know that they have been supporting me. I really, really appreciate them.
Yesterday, I had thought about posting the verse in Job that says "the Lord gave and the Lord hath taken away, blessed be the name of the Lord" (my paraphrase), but while searching for the exact scripture, I happened upon a blog by another Christian mother who had recently delivered a stillborn. She was "ranting (her words)" about people who use that verse in reference to miscarriages and such. She said that Satan had taken her child, not God, and she was very angry with people "misusing" that scripture.
I thought about that for a while... whether God had taken my baby or Satan had stolen him. I came to the conclusion that Satan has no power or authority to kill my baby. God allowed my baby to die, for whatever His reasons. According to 1 Samuel 2:6, "The LORD killeth, and maketh alive: He bringeth down to the grave, and bringeth up." Wouldn't it be awful if Satan had authority to kill us. Yes, I know that he would like to, but does he have that kind of power over God's children? Wouldn't all Christians be dead by now? Revelations 1:17-18, "And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death."
During the trip to the ER, I did pray against any attacks from the enemy I bound them according to Matthew 18:18 ("Truly I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven.") I also prayed that God's Will would be done, for He alone knows what is best for me and my unborn child. Thank God that His is the power to give or take a life... because He can be trusted implicitly.
