A Shot In The Dark Part 2

So at 9:15 I send an e-mail, and by 9:30pm I'm on the phone talking with Amy, discussing our kids, laughing and chatting and planning to meet at 8:00am on my way to the airport!

Amy's house is really pretty. It has a beautiful gas firepit and a fenced play pool outside. Her neighborhood also has a park inside the community that we can walk to. The interview went great, Amy and I clicked right away. Her 18 month old son, Andrew, was hugging Elon and they were playing so sweetly together. Her little girl is a cutie too! And the best part is that Amy is going to allow me to take the kids to my house whenever I want! This is wonderful because it can get really old sitting at someone else's house all day. She says she wants us to be like family. Two days later, I get a phone call offering me the position! I am so excited and thankful that God has given me this job.

Guess what, I just got a call from the "scary family" saying that although they liked me, they thought having the two boys plus their "very demanding" little girl would be too much. Nina said, "I hope you are ok, but obviously not, with news like this." Ummm... I appreciate the concern Nina, but I've never been so relieved to not get a job in my life! This is one happy girl!

Yeah!! I wanted to call and ask you if you got it but knew you are very busy!
He knows our needs before we do and goes before us to prepare the way.
Looks like a much better start then your move to Colorado!

Hooray! Did you give Nina the number for Nanny911? I've never seen the show, but it sounds like she could use it!
Just curious- is Amy a believer?
That would make the deal all that much sweeter if she is.

Thanks Ladies, I'm so happy too!

Jaedan's Mom- it is a much better start, and that's something I had been praying about.

Mrs. Bonnie- If she doesn't need the number yet, I'm sure by the time the little girl is a teenager, she will!
Yes, she is a Christian, she wrote that in her profile and that's why I knew I had to pay the money to find out more info.
