The Infamous Stetson...

My grandfather used to own a Stetson black felt hat. He loved that thing and I have pictures sitting in one of those big rattan-looking chairs with the wide, high backs dressed in my Sunday best and wearing that cowboy hat. When my grandpa and grandma got divorced, my grandpa lost the hat and has regretted it ever since {the hat, not the divorce}.

Today, I am going to some hat stores around Phoenix to see if I can find him a new and even better Black Stetson Cowboy Hat. Not just any hat will do, it has to be THE HAT. So I'll be praying that I find it, I think he's gonna be tickled pink!

Praying you find it and can take it home to him...

Maybe you lost your job at the perfect time so that you could go home and spend time with your family. Just felt a strong nudge to share this thought...

Nothing else matters when it comes to time with those you love.

Yes, that just occurred to me as well. I couldn't have gotten time off with that family because she had only worked at her job for 1.5 weeks and had no one else to take her children. God sure does have the "whole world in His hands" to quote Jaedan :}

I hope you find the perfect hat!

I had not thought about what Jaedan's Mom said about the job...but wow, that makes perfect sense! How amazing to catch a glimpse of God's mind and plans so quickly after a surprise event occurs. :)
