My goodness! I just can't figure out what is going on. I have never known so many people to be having health issues in my life! And all are Christians. My sister just told me that they think her husband has Lupus. My best friend from college's son is having seizures, my mom's best friend has a skin disease that has now spread to cover her whole body, a young lady from my church in NC has stage four cancer, my grandfather's disease... and I could go on but I don't want to depress you!
I just don't know what to make of the situation... I believe in miracles, have seen them with my own eyes. I KNOW that God has the power to heal. I haven't seen a miracle in a long time though, and I know many Christians are feeling frustrated at the lack of miraculous healing that we see. I know that even the unsaved are looking at the charasmatic beleivers and wondering about where those "signs and wonders" are. God has given us wonderful medical science, for which I am so grateful, but still, I long to see Him do the miraculous in my friends' and families lives.
I am praying for God's Spirit to break through in a supernatural way that none can question. In each of the situations above, the doctors are saying that there is no cure, only treatment for the symptoms. I am asking for God to do a miracle for which ONLY HE CAN GET THE GLORY. I believe that when these things begin to happen, the world will look at us in wonder asking "Where is this power coming from?" And we will say, "It is the power of GOD, We are His children, called by His name, and you can be too!!!"
I don't know if God is allowing us to face these hardships to increase our faith and our desperation for Him, or if the enemy is just trying really hard to steal our hope, but either way, I am on my face before God asking Him to remember His children. Maybe this is the time that American Christians will humble themselves and begin to depend more on God and less on man! If you are a Christian, please join with me in asking God to begin to bring more of His supernatural healing to America.

I believe that we are under attack, but I also believe that God is preparing his people for what lies ahead. God has allowed these illnesses for a purpose and I pray that it would not be in vein.
I will agree in prayer with you because I too believe that God can bring miraclulous healing that will bring many to their knees.
God did extraordinary miracles through Paul, so that even handkerchiefs and aprons that had touched him were taken to the sick, and their illnesses were cured and the evil spirits left them.
Acts 19:11-12
When this became known to the Jews and Greeks living in Ephesus, they were all seized with fear, and the name of the Lord Jesus was held in high honor. Many of those who believed now came and openly confessed their evil deeds. A number who had practiced sorcery brought their scrolls together and burned them publicly. When they calculated the value of the scrolls, the total came to fifty thousand drachmas. In this way the word of the Lord spread widely and grew in power Acts 19:17-20
