Play Dates and Pizza...

Today Elizabeth and Ci-Ci came over for a visit. Elon had a blast pulling out all of his toys and scattering them all over the house. And it was nice for me to have a grown-up to talk to for a change! Just to sit and have coffee and brownies and chat is so much fun! For lunch, we had soft tacos. I like to buy a large package of hamburger, season it, and then freeze in meal sized portions. Since the taco meat was already cooked, all I had to do was cut up the lettuce and warm the tortillas, add a little shredded cheese and you've got a very simple to prepare lunch.

That reminds me of another quick and easy meal that Elizabeth taught me. She got me hooked to the refrigerated pizza dough at Trader Joe's. It costs under a buck fifty and tastes much better than the traditional store bought dough.

I roll out the dough, microwave a can of tomato sauce seasoned with basil, oregano, and garlic, then top with cheese and whatever veggies and meats I have on hand. These pizzas have saved me from running out to a fast food joint many times. They are so easy! If you have a Trader Joe's nearby you have got to try their pizza dough!

Looks good I'll try out that dough the next time I'm in Cali.
