Which Came First, The Chicken or The Egg?

Here's an article that'll make you think twice about purchasing the regular ol' eggs and the cheapest priced chicken... HealthMatters. I don't support everything on the site, but at least this article had the sources to back it up.

I think we all try hard to feed our family the best we can on what we make, but it is so difficult sometimes! The cheap stuff is so full of junk, but it's affordable, so we buy it. The good stuff is so expensive, but can't go down in price... it's an vicious cycle. *sigh*

I agree, Arlene. At this point, I'm still buying the cheap chicken but the more expensive eggs. To me, eggs are little gross anyway, so buying the more nutritious ones makes me feel better about eating them. I would love to be able to afford to feed Elon everything organic. Maybe one day I'll be able to grow my own organic veggies and poultry-- but I definitely won't be doing the slaughtering!
