This Weekend...

This Saturday I held my first Arizona yard sale. I did learn one thing, Arizonians are cheap {myself included}! I asked two dollars for a wall picture and seemingly interested folks put it down! The clothes did sell well-- but when you charge $.25 cents a shirt and $.50 for a pair of pants, it takes a lot of clothes to accumulate a little bit of money! Nevertheless, I earned $40 and lost some junk so I guess it was worth it. Oh, make that $34-- I forgot I bought some donuts out of the profit! I sold about half of my stuff before some kind neighbor took my signs down :< class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">yard sale together the beginning of May. I need to make some room for the quickly coming baby!

Elon is on the mend from a nasty cold and Hillsong United held a free concert at church last night-- all in all, a profitable weekend!

Glad you were able to make some extra room in your home and extra money in your pocket! :o)

Oh, and I was going to say that recovering our dining room chairs is on my to-do list, too :o) Maybe if you do yours first and post about it, that will help motivate me ;o) lol

Arlene,
I've looked around a little bit for just the "right" fabric but have yet to find it. Maybe I'll be able to go shopping later this week and I can get it done? I'll definitely post pics.

Yes, the fabric is what's stopping me, too. The Jo*Ann Fa*brics we had nearby closed down last year, so now I'm down to Wal*mart and H*bby L*bby for my shopping options. If they don't get anything in soon, I just might try ordering online...
