Has anyone ever seen "Little Einsteins?" We checked them out from the library and Elon LOVES them! I do too, because they teach him everything from colors to composers, artists to obelisks! Seriously, Nathan gave a second look when he heard his two-year olds tv show talking about obelisks. And I pleasantly wash dishes while learning Johannes Brahms and his Hungarian Dance No. 5. I am getting cultured! Anyway, if you haven't seen Little Einsteins yet, give them a try!
Hey, does anyone have any suggestions for some good fiction reads? I'm thinking something historical, or maybe set at the turn of the century, anyway just nothing too modern please!

Hmm, I'll have to check the little einsteins, I've heard of it, but wrote it off as probably not that great, but now you've got me interested.
Hmm, no great book ideas, I've been re-reading all my Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys. They don't require much thinking.
I tend to stay away from anything by Gilbert Morris. ALL HIS BOOKS HAVE THE SAME PLOT AND CHARACTERS. only the names are changed, and the locations. Thhbbbppp. If you like westerns, Stephan Bly is allright. There is another western writer who is fantastic, but his name is escaping me, I'll let you know if I think of it.
I recently read The Centurion's Wife by T. Davis Bunn and Janette Oke. It is set in Bible times shortly before Jesus' death and goes until just after His resurrection, I believe. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series as it was pretty good (there was a bit of a slow start, but once it got going, it really picked up, and I couldn't put it down!). :o)
I've never seen Little Einsteins, so I'll have to look into it for Caleb sometime. Thanks for the info. :)
Oh, I was going to tell you this a while ago, and kept forgetting -- I noticed you used to have a link to Cherish the Home blog, but Michele relocated her blog to Whatsoever Things are Lovely. Didn't know if you had read about her moving/name change. :o)
So nice checking your blog Himilce. Miss you all so much. I am looking forward to catching up when I get back to Phx.
