Davene, I'm really not sure. Usually my thoughts vacilate between homeschool and, if we can afford it, private school. I also think a lot depends on the school in which your child will be attending. Of course some are much more conservative than others. Case in point: the school that my sis taught at still utilizes corporal punishment and many of the teachers pray with the students at the school where my cousin taught.
