If You Don't Have Anything Nice To Say....

Well, we all know how the saying goes.  But I'm ignoring it for now.  I am MAD!  I am going to be a spoiled brat and say that I want my husband home for dinner!  This is producing in me an alter-ego that looks and acts strikingly similar to this woman:

And I really can make myself look and sound just like her!

Oh Paul, why did you ever give us that standard of "being content in every situation..." If you hadn't said that, I'd be free and content to just sit and wallow in my self-pity, consoling myself with mashed oreos in milk.  Sheesh, my belly is beginning to show the effects of 3 years of lonely weeknights :(

*Sigh,* Paul, how did you ever get through those difficult years in prison without chocolate?

I'm sorry, that stinks. How much longer does he have, another year?

I am so sorry! I can really relate, Bret used to have to travel while I was pg with Lauren and Emma so he would be gone for 1-2 weeks at a time. That sucked, I felt like a single mom. It was not fun. There isn't too much time left and he will be home. And a whole new season can begin. Go have more oreos, its okay. :) Wish I could be there to have you over for dinner, I know the girls would love it and so would I.

@ Mrs. Bonnie, he graduates in May but since he is filming his first movie this summer, we have to stay in AZ through the lovely summer ;P Even tho he graduates in May, his hours are really wacky- 12:00pm-9:45pm so it will be a while before we get to spend evenings together. In my mind, I am trying to figure out a way that he can fly back to AZ on the weekends to finish filming. That means we would only have to stay here through July-- if he can find a job elsewhere! On the bright side-- I am thankful he has a job!

Katheryn, yep, I can really relate to the single mom feeling! I keep telling Nathan that if he were a farmer or a rancher he could work from home and I wouldn't have to worry about it :) I presume I'll be seeing you guys over Easter?

I don't know whether to laugh or cry with you Himilce, of course you always make me laugh... love the oreo cookie solution... sounds like what I do... why does food always hold that place of comfort... I mean even Esau sold his birth right for it. I can only say we love you so much... sympathize completely... miss you all, and are so happy Nathan is close to being finished.
Love you Pam

Oh, I feel for you!

I remember when we lived in Israel, Josiah was our only child and was just a toddler, but I remember how I LONGED for Jeff to come home each day. He was taking Hebrew classes, and if he was even a few minutes late, I thought my brain was going to explode from the tedium of life with a toddler. Looking back, it seems silly, but that's really how I felt at the time.

Your situation, however, doesn't seem silly at all. I can imagine how hard it is to have him gone so much. I hope the next few months pass quickly, and that his schedule is able to improve.

Any idea what corner of the world you all will be heading to after your AZ days??

It's because he's a man... men don't seem to have the need for chocolate that we do. Which is yet another reason they're so puzzling. :P

Hope you're having a better week, girlie! *hugs*
