Today I am designing a chart to help me keep up with my housecleaning. For some reason, schedules don't work well for me. I'd rather have a checklist I can mark off each week to ensure that my weekly chores are getting done. I have found that if I mark the list with the date that I accomplished the task, it keeps me from doing any one task too often and not doing another task often enough.. (like cleaning the shower stall, yuck) ;p
Hopefully this handy dandy chart will keep me in line! I'll let you know!

great idea! i need little organizational tools too....i just bought myself a day planner a couple of weeks ago, and i find if i actually take time to plan all of my tasks, etc., i am MUCH more efficient. then i can go back and check off what i have done... if i don't get to it, it goes on the next day.
i just added you to my blogroll!
Ooh, yes please let us know how it works for you. I'm trying to come up with a system that works for me, but I end up obsessing about what should be done when, what I forgot, blah, blah, blah.
I, too, will be anxious to hear how it goes. I've read about different systems, but haven't found one that works for me--hmm, I guess I'm really the one supposed to be doing the work, not it, right? Maybe that's been my problem!!! :)
Great idea!
I'd love to see the finished chart! (I could use all the help that I could get. LOL)
I ran across your blog through google. I was searching for a housekeeping checklist, and saw your post. I was hoping you might have a download of it too. But i went on searching forever & after searching for hours, i couldn't find anything, So I made my own too! It is something that should be personaliz-able.
Good brief and this post helped me alot in my college assignement. Thanks you for your information.
Hi!
May I use your black/white photo of the woman in the apron for my blog/website?
Thanks
