From a trip home to NC. Now there is laundry to wash, suitcases to empty, and groceries to buy. Now if I can just muster up the energy to get started! That three hour time difference is a doozy! (Not to mention traveling alone with a three year old and a one year old! Elon did wonderfully, but Asher, well-- that's a different story!)
Unfortunately, Elon, Asher and I all had a stomach virus for half of our time in NC. No matter, we still had a lot of fun and managed to squeeze in a trip to the coast! Sigh, one day on the beach is just never enough! I am so glad I was still able to eat with the virus, because one of the best things about the South is the food! And I definitely ate my share-- fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, buttermilk buscuits, hushpuppies, sweet potato casserole-- just to name a few! Oh I already wish I would've eaten more....

I'm guessing the princess has moved along?
Sounds like a good trip! If you find some energy, pass it along my way, would you?
HOW do you stay so skinny? I think I'm gaining weight just reading about that good food! :)
I'm glad you had a great time, and I hope the settling-in/adjusting-to-different-time-zone goes well.
Hilmice -- I'm going to NC in August and can't wait to have some Lexington BBQ, Cheerwine, popcorn shrimp/hush puppie platter, Chick fil A (don't have them in MN) and lots and lots and lots of sickenly sweet TEA! Glad you managed to have a good time in spitd of the sickness.
